What's New

Bard is a company rich in history, with a tradition of commitment to quality products and service and the customers and patients we serve. Our dedication to creating a global educational environment where today’s distinguished medical thought leaders interact with the rising stars of the medical community is unwavering.

In the year 2000, Bard Electrophysiology division offered its 13th annual Electrophysiology Fellows-in-Training seminar in the U.S. A similar program was started in Europe three years ago. This in an extraordinary professional forum in which seeds of knowledge are passed between two generations of brilliant medical minds—and often gives rise to Bard’s research and development of patented, innovative technologies.

For many years prior to the inception of our own electrophysiology educational programs, electrocardiographers attempted to refine and share the uncommon skills and methodology required to decipher the intriguing, yet bewildering "waveforms" on an electrogram. We at Bard are proud to expand this tradition in the field of clinical electrophysiology, and each year, present a widely respected faculty as our intellectual allies. More than 700 physicians from two dozen countries have participated in these seminars.

This type of high-level intellectual collaboration casts Bard in the role of "partner" in physician education—a setting brimming with research and development possibilities. In this venue, Bard has been able to reap the benefits of our company’s legacy of education and our vision for the future.

Bard is already the electrophysiologist's first choice for education, and we receive a dividend of respect and notoriety for that. Our continued presence with the Bard EP Fellows program and the EP Allied Professionals program preserves our 'seat at the table' when challenging opportunities are revealed. This rare vantage point increases our ability to become the physician's first choice for the development of diagnostic and therapeutic EP products.
